Access Program Coordinator
📍 Montreal (hybrid) ⏰ Full-time, 35h/week 💰 $69,615/year 📅 Deadline: July 24, 2026
Role description: Our Access program is how we get menstrual products into the hands of people who need them. We distribute free products to a growing network of more than 75 community partners across the Greater Montreal Area, including women’s centres, shelters and day centres serving people experiencing houselessness, organizations serving newcomers and refugees, youth outreach centres, LGBTQIA+ organizations, and many others. We offer a range of single-use and reusable products, and work with each partner to identify the unique needs and preferences of the communities they serve. In 2025, our team distributed more than 200,000 products through this program.
The Access Coordinator will be responsible for daily operations of our distribution program, including partner relationships, inventory and storage, donation planning and distribution, and receiving incoming shipments. This is a hands-on and logistics-focused role that forms a core pillar of how Monthly Dignity achieves its mission.
Key responsibilities:
Partner relationships and community outreach
- Maintain regular and reliable communication with existing community partners.
- Assess the eligibility of new partner organizations and onboard those that qualify.
- Act as the main point of contact for partners on product access and distribution.
Donation planning and distribution
- Ensure regular distribution of products to partner organizations.
- Schedule donation pick-ups at our storage unit and organize delivery drives if a partner cannot collect their order.
- Coordinate with partners by email to confirm quantities, timing, and logistics.
- Guide product selection when partners need help choosing what fits their community.
Inventory and storage management
- Keep an accurate and up-to-date count of stock in our storage unit using an internal inventory system.
- Flag low stock and signal when sourcing is needed.
- Maintain the storage space so products are easy to locate and handle safely.
- Track distribution data (quantities distributed, partners served) and provide accurate figures for program monitoring and grant reporting.
Receiving shipments and supplier coordination
- Liaise with donors and suppliers to request products and coordinate shipments.
- Be on site to receive deliveries of menstrual products.
- Coordinate with shippers and storage unit to ensure adequate equipment is available (e.g. maximum truck length for loading dock access, dock leveler, jigger).
Qualifications:
- Experience working in community organizations.
- Experience with logistics, distribution, warehouse, or comparable hands-on operational work.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail, with the ability to manage inventory, scheduling, and competing priorities.
- Comfort tracking data and keeping accurate records using internal database tools to support program monitoring and grant reporting.
- Physically able to lift and move boxes by hand (<15 lbs) and to safely operate a freight elevator and pallet jack to move larger shipments.
- Ability to work independently within a small and primarily remote team.
- Capacity to take initiative to improve how the program runs and to help expand our partner network as the organization grows.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Fluency in French and English.
- Valid driver’s license. A car-sharing service will be provided.
Compensation and benefits: This is a salaried, full-time position at 35 hours per week at $69,615 per year. The position is funded through March 2027 under a grant, and we are actively pursuing additional funding with the intention to continue the role beyond that date. Benefits include flexible scheduling, three weeks of paid vacation, paid winter closure, group health insurance, and RRSP matching (up to 3%).

Communications & Events Coordinator

Role description: Communications and events are how Monthly Dignity builds awareness, shares menstrual health education, and grows the community and support behind our mission. The Communications & Events Coordinator will lead our digital storytelling and public engagement across social media, our newsletter, and our website, and help plan and deliver our events. The role is roughly 70% communications and 30% event planning, and sits at the heart of how Monthly Dignity grows its visibility and expands its reach across Quebec.
Key responsibilities:
Digital communications and content
- Develop and execute a social media strategy across Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, LinkedIn, and YouTube..
- Grow Monthly Dignity’s reach and public profile, building our audience and brand recognition across Quebec and beyond.
- Create engaging, educational, and advocacy-focused content, including short-form video, that resonates with diverse audiences.
- Maintain a regular newsletter and grow subscriber engagement.
- Keep our website up to date, ensuring content stays current and accessible.
- Monitor trends and analytics to optimize reach and engagement.
Design and storytelling
- Design graphics, infographics, and visual assets that align with our brand.
- Take occasional photos and short videos of events and the team’s work for our communications and funder updates.
Events and community engagement
- Lead the planning and execution of our annual fundraising event (in late May) and plan and deliver a small number of awareness-raising events each year (our largest draws around 100-120 people).
- Manage event logistics, including venue booking, vendor coordination, and budget tracking.
- Support attendee engagement before, during, and after events.
- Build and maintain relationships with community partners, sponsors, and stakeholders.
Team coordination
- Collaborate closely with Funding & Development Coordinator on campaigns that grow our support and donor base.
- Work with colleagues across our access, education, and advocacy work to tell the story of our impact and surface content opportunities.
Qualifications
- Two to three years of experience in communications, social media, or a related field.
- Experience working in the non-profit or community sector is an asset.
- Strong writing skills in French, comfort working in English, and the ability to adapt tone across audiences and platforms.
- Comfortable creating visual content and simple graphics with tools like Canva.
- The sensitivity to represent the diverse communities we serve with care and dignity, and comfort creating accessible content (captions on video, alt text on images).
- Comfortable making routine content updates to a website (WordPress/Elementor); web design experience is not required.
- Experience helping plan and run events (our largest draws around 100-200 people).
- Strong organizational and project-management skills, with the ability to juggle competing priorities.
- Comfortable working independently within a small, fully remote team.
- Comfort filming simple short-form video clips for TikTok is an asset; no professional production needed.
- Experience with email marketing or newsletter tools is an asset.
Working conditions
- This is a remote role, with in-person time in Montreal for events and team gatherings. Travel beyond Montreal is possible but rare.
- Some schedule flexibility is needed, since events sometimes fall on evenings or weekends.
Compensation and benefits
This is a salaried, full-time position at 35 hours per week at $69,615 per year. The position is funded through March 2027 under a Federal grant, and we are actively pursuing additional funding with the intention to continue the role beyond that date.
