Role description<\/strong>: Our Access program is how we get menstrual products into the hands of people who need them. We distribute free products to a growing network of more than 75 community partners across the Greater Montreal Area, including women’s centres, shelters and day centres serving people experiencing houselessness, organizations serving newcomers and refugees, youth outreach centres, LGBTQIA+ organizations, and many others. We offer a range of single-use and reusable products, and work with each partner to identify the unique needs and preferences of the communities they serve. In 2025, our team distributed more than 200,000 products through this program.<\/p>

The Access Coordinator will be responsible for daily operations of our distribution program, including partner relationships, inventory and storage, donation planning and distribution, and receiving incoming shipments. This is a hands-on and logistics-focused role that forms a core pillar of how Monthly Dignity achieves its mission.<\/p>

        • Keep an accurate and up-to-date count of stock in our storage unit using an internal inventory system.<\/li>
        • Flag low stock and signal when sourcing is needed.<\/li>
        • Maintain the storage space so products are easy to locate and handle safely.<\/li>

          • Liaise with donors and suppliers to request products and coordinate shipments.<\/li>
          • Be on site to receive deliveries of menstrual products.<\/li>

            Qualifications<\/strong>:<\/p>

            • Experience working in community organizations.<\/li>
            • Experience with logistics, distribution, warehouse, or comparable hands-on operational work.<\/li>
            • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail, with the ability to manage inventory, scheduling, and competing priorities.<\/li>
            • Comfort tracking data and keeping accurate records using internal database tools to support program monitoring and grant reporting.<\/li>
            • Physically able to lift and move boxes by hand (<15 lbs) and to safely operate a freight elevator and pallet jack to move larger shipments.<\/li>
            • Ability to work independently within a small and primarily remote team.<\/li>
            • Capacity to take initiative to improve how the program runs and to help expand our partner network as the organization grows.<\/li>
            • Strong written and verbal communication skills.<\/li>
            • Fluency in French and English.<\/li>
            • Valid driver\u2019s license. A car-sharing service will be provided.<\/li><\/ul>

              Compensation and benefits<\/strong>: This is a salaried, full-time position at 35 hours per week at $69,615 per year. The position is funded through March 2027 under a grant, and we are actively pursuing additional funding with the intention to continue the role beyond that date. Benefits include flexible scheduling, three weeks of paid vacation, paid winter closure, group health insurance, and RRSP matching (up to 3%).<\/p>
